I was texted by the person above asking about my bookkeeping services. Upon me asking to conduct a discovery call, the person stated they would send me a zoom link instead of me sending mine. When I got the link, I pasted the link into AI and AI informed me that it was a scam. The link is https://uszoomwebhost.live/esjoinzoom.us. Per Gemini AI "NO, do not click that link. It is a dangerous phishing and malware scam. The URL uszoomwebhost.live/esjoinzoom.us is a fake domain designed to look like a legitimate Zoom meeting invitation. Real Zoom links will always lead to zoom.us or zoom.com. Why This Link is Dangerous Malware Injection: Recent security reports from early 2026 show that these "zoomwebhost" domains are being used to trick users into downloading a fake "Zoom agent." Once you click, it can silently install malware or keyloggers that steal your passwords, banking info, and personal data. Phishing: It may take you to a login page that looks exactly like Zoom but is actually a trap to capture your email and password. The Scam Pattern: This matches the exact behavior you just experienced with the "Todd Agnello" scam—someone from the BBB reaches out with urgency and insists on sending their own meeting link rather than using yours." I have since blocked the phone number and email address. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: None given] [Location: Springfield, MO, USA - 65807]
