I was contacted by a representative of Affirm Travels by phone. They knew that I was a new timeshare owner. They told me that they were in the business of selling and renting out timeshares in order to help the owners to capitalize on their investment. I researched the company on line and it appeared to be legitimate. I agreed to have them list my timeshare for rent. They "guaranteed" that they would be able to rent out my 2 bedroom timeshare at a very prime location because they deal with large corporations that they claimed have annual conferences in the city where my timeshare is located. They claimed that these corporations prefer to put their executives in apartments rather than hotels. Needless to say, after I signed the contract. the person that made all the promises (Cameron) was no longer anywhere to be found, Every time I called to follow up he wasn't available. I left numerous messages with the receptionist without any response. Not too long after, my calls were no longer answered. I continued to leave voicemail messages and to this day, almost a year later, no one has returned my calls. The 'so-called" listing of my timeshare that was initially posted on the vacationownership.com website is no longer there. This is a terrible SCAM and I will pursue this in small claims court.
