After listing my RV on RVTrader, I received an email from a potential buyer. He requested a VIN report from vehiclerecordusa.com. I sent him the normal VIN report from RVTrader, but he continued to insist on a report from vehiclerecordusa.com. It was very clear that he was trying to scam sellers into using his service. I listed a vehicle (motorcycle) for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Kern Kar contacted me via messenger through my ad. this person acted like they were very interested in purchasing the motorcycle, asked if they could come see it, if I preferred cash or bank transfer as payment. I responded and said I would be available to show him the motorcycle. Next this person requested I get a vehicle report and send it to him before he committed to coming to see the motorcycle. The website he sent me to for this requested a minimum payment of $35 for the report. I paid the amount and got the report. Surprise, surprise, he has come up with some medical emergency and cannot purchase the motorcycle now. This person is scamming people who are trying to sell vehicles by directing them to this website that requires a payment.
