PSA for all of you who answer phones for businesses, new "yellow pages" scam tries to record unknowing employees authorizing charges and invoices from face companies. http://www.wbjournal.com/article/20130813/NEWS01/130819982/bbb-warns-of-yellow-pages-scam Just had this happen to me at work. They call and say the owner of the business signed and authorized documents for canceling her contract with "American Yellow Pages." They then try to transfer you to their "quality control department" to verify everything and receive a code. Essentially what they do is try to record you saying simple yes and no answers, to try and use as an audio receipt for an agreement to pay the "late charges." These people are pretty good too. They had me going for a bit, until the call cut out and I got a call back from Mr. Craig White (who said he was the manager of course), and he seemed rather upset that I didnt finish the recording. Also, apparently they doctor the audio too, so lets see what they send to my boss! Be careful out there!
