I clicked on a targeted ad through Instagram for a company I have previously ordered from, Pepper Bras. They were having a great sale, the website was an exact duplicate of the authentic website wearpepper.com. Placed my order and then immediately it asked if I’d like to order another brand for a significant discount. Which I did. It offered this again, but I declined. I received a confirmation email from a email address similar but looked a little misspelled wearpeppras. I didn’t think much of it. More than 2 weeks later I still had not received an updated email saying the order was processing or being shipped. So I checked on Shopify and it said it was still being processed. When I clicked on the link to view the store, there was an error with their website - it had been completely removed and gone dark. I tried to submit an error with my order through Shopify but couldn’t because the order was still being processed. Finally realizing I had been scammed, I emailed the contact for the store: [email protected] . No response. This is when k filed a dispute with my credit card company. The only option for the dispute was to say that I hadn’t received the order/product. The very next day I received an email from wearpeprass saying my order was being shipped. 2 weeks later I received the worst dupe bras - wrong sizing, color, fabric, fit. No Pepper label, in a strange packaging, European sizing labels (like from generic Amazon overseas products) and tags cut off. I emailed again the contact email remanding a full refund, no response. It has been more than 4 weeks since I ordered, so even if I wanted to return the items, it wouldn’t hold up to their return policy. Finally got a resolution from my credit card company and the dispute has been reversed - the frau [BBB Scam Type: Counterfeit Product] [Business: Wepearprass imposter] [Location: UT, USA - 84009]
