West Asset Management Scam? So I got a bonus and decided to go to the hospital and pay off some overdue bills I had. I paid them off in full, but then a week later I get a letter from West Asset Management Inc, dated the same day I paid off the bill, saying that I owe them the amount I paid. I'm wondering if this is really still on my credit report, really considered paid, and/or if this isn't just some kind of a scam? Anybody hear of this company before. their number is 877-411-7197 their website is www.westbillpay.com
