Had some luck with this tactic--offer reward for info. So I don't know much about this website, https://www.whistleblowersinternational.com/what-is-whistleblowing/rewards/ but it kind of explains how whistleblowers get rewards for ratting. A few times I have discussed this with robodialing scammers and a couple even contacted me for more info but I really didn't have anything except advice--"call FCC and ask for reward" I may have even pretended that I was "authorized" to offer a reward. (worked really well but did not get info or supply reward--but it could be promising. It can be tricky to keep these thieves on the line, so persistence method must be used. (how ever you get best results in keeping them on the line not hanging-up---acting like a SUCKER basically) I just posted that link in beermoney and thought I would post about it a little more here. Also I've come to the conclusion that it could be very possible that the humans that we talk to after pressing "1", could be VICTIMS of human-trafficking or extortion, NOT just doing scams because they are stupid or scammers. So--again, it is tricky trying to establish trust with these people and you don't want to get them in trouble either so the best thing to do in my opinion is to try and get their personal cell number and call them later.
