Is depression a solid case for early termination of probation? I read [here](http://www.worldlawdirect.com/article/870/us-probation-faq.html) that if extraordinary circumstances arise, a hearing could terminate probation early. 9 months ago, I was forced to relocate to Florida from my native Massachusetts by my mother. She registered me to go to college in Fort Myers, FL without my knowledge after telling me countless times that I could go to Bryant University in Rhode Island. I have since dropped out as I couldn't concentrate on my school work and my grades suffered. I developed mild insomnia which would keep me up until 4 or 5 am and I would only sleep for about 5 hours. During this time I started smoking a LOT of weed, more than I had before. I went from smoking once a day to 3 or 4 times a day. Getting too high would make me sleepy which helped with my insomnia and reminded me, somewhat, of my friends back home. Then on March 1st, I was pulled over for ALLEGEDLY going 85 in a 70, when I know for a fact I was only going 78 (Cruise control set on 80 and my speedometer is 2mph fast). When I got pulled over I was smoking a cigarette (I suspect the only reason I actually got pulled over was because the officer saw me light it and thought it was a joint. I think this because I had been passed by a car going well over 80 not 15 seconds earlier). He asked me if he could search my car, I asked for probable cause, he dodged the question and threatened to bring in his dog, I again asked for probable cause, he again avoided answering and reiterated his first response. I asked for probable cause a third time and he basically said, "I suspect you have weed because you denied it and that's all the probable cause I need." I came to grips that he was going to continue to be an asshole and I didn't feel like getting arrested so I fessed up, he found, at the very MOST, half a gram and the remains of a water bottle I'd fashioned into a pipe.
