Need advice with a rent deposit scammer So to keep it short, 1) scammer advertises a surprisingly cheap apartment online. 2) When contacted he explains that he had to move to London with his job, hence him subletting it. 3) So in order for me to visit have a look at it, he would simply organise for www.worldwidemoving.co.uk to hand over the key. He will even pay the shipping costs! So 4) all I would have to do is to pay a month's rent and a deposit. He organises for aforementioned moving company to contact me. So in case it hasn't been obvious enough so far, the "moving company" gets in touch, with an uber-fake email address and requests the funds via western union. There's more blah, but that's the gist of it. How can I waste a maximum of his time?
