I am reporting highly inappropriate and disturbing advertisements appearing in the mobile game Wormate.io. This game has bright, cartoon-style graphics and is easily accessible to children, yet the advertisements it displays include sexualized and violent content involving teens. These individuals are appearing in everyday scenes wearing provocative attire and 2 seconds in the "ad" the girl flashes you fast or bends over and isn't wearing underwear, etc. In addition to sexually suggestive “girl” video ads I previously reported, I recently encountered an ad featuring a teenage girl being recorded by someone. Another teen’s arms are wrapped around her from behind with hands around her neck, appearing to choke her. Although the girl is smiling, the ad depicts her head being moved back and forth as if the person behind her is tightening their grip. The imagery strongly suggests violence, coercion, and sexualized behavior involving minors, presented as if it is “fun.” This content is unsafe and completely inappropriate for any audience, but especially concerning because children commonly play this game and could be exposed to these ads without warning. I have reported the issue to the developer twice (via [email protected] and [email protected] ) and flagged the app through the Google Play Store, but I have received no response and the ads continue to appear. I am requesting an investigation into these advertisements for potential violations of advertising policies and child online safety standards, including possible COPPA-related concerns regarding exposure of minors to harmful or adult-oriented material.
