I purchased six of these as Christmas gifts for my book club friends because the photos looked adorable. What arrived was nothing like the impression created by the product listing. The bookshelf is only about 5 inches and significantly smaller than it appears in the advertising photos. The "books" are blurry printed wooden blocks, that are unreadable, and the overall quality is far below what is shown on the website. Before anyone says "the dimensions were listed," yes, they were buried in the product details. My issue is that the photos create a completely different impression of the product's size and quality. The most frustrating part is that the company refuses returns entirely. I contacted customer service, provided photos of the item I received, explained that the product did not match the advertising, and even offered to return the items. They refused. Not only would they not issue a refund, they would not accept a return at all, even if I paid the return shipping and a restocking fee. Their response was essentially: "The dimensions were listed, so too bad." I've attached photos of both the advertisement and what actually arrived. I've now filed a credit card dispute because the product I received is significantly different from what was represented in the listing. Hopefully this saves someone else from wasting their money. If you're buying from an unfamiliar website because a social media ad showed you something cute and unique, do a little extra research first. I wish I had.
