Scam DApp platform, brainstorming So I was lead to financial slaughter to a fraudulent DApp trading platform (xrtradinc.co within the crypto DeFi wallet, but prior the URL in June was xrweb.me with the moniker XR Trading) - led by an Asian female presenting pig butcherer. She connected on my LinkedIn. I extinguish romantic notions, but agreed to friendship and professional networking. The convo inevitably kept circling back to crypto. Long story short, sunk about $100 k, and traded to 227k usdt. The trading portion of the site *seems* legit, but then the malicious East Asian entity revealed their dubious agenda. So they’re trying to extort me for more money to pull my assets. I realize I likely will not get any of the money back. So I berate customer service on the daily. When they ignore messages from my main wallet, I connect another wallet to get their attention. I can still move the funds around on the site from the assets to the options trading area, and my novel idea is just sinking all the money on some bad trades rather than letting them take the value. But I hate to give into impulse and/or revenge when patience and persistence might be the key. I do worry that they’ll change their URL again while I’m effing around. In June the URL changed and my butcher friend acted as if I had missed an update. That should have been my clue, but (//:sarcasm) why would my professional crypto day trading friend, dedicated on “teaching” betray me? Should I see if I can dump the value or hold off? Not indulging recovery schemes, so do not message me with recovery schemes.
