What’s the scam here? Someone opened a Walmart account with my email… A Walmart account was made with my personal email. Then right after, I received another email saying the primary email (my email) was changed to another email (which was my full name @yopmail.com). For whatever reason they are using my name. Then i received a purchase order and a tracking number to my original email. (Even though the primary email had been changed?) I first checked to see if the payment method was one of my cards (it was not). I then assumed it was a phishing scam but everything checked out including the fedex tracking number. So I’m not sure what the scam is? Why use my personal email then change it? The number on the account is an Ontario Canada number and the shipment is headed for an address in Utah.
