I received a call from 877-388-0636 where someone claiming to be Holly Davenport from Account Resolution Corporation said she was with an account resolution tax review agency. She insisted there was a limited timing window for me to resolve some urgent account issue and pressured me to provide personal financial information. The caller's vague explanations and high-pressure tactics made it clear this was not a legitimate debt collection agency.
Voicemail left from “account resolution review department”? Hi, I received the following voicemail and wanted to see if this is a scam? In the voicemail, the person does not say what the company is other than being from the “account resolution review department”. A quick google search of the person and number doesn’t bring up anything specific. Here is the transcribed voicemail I received: “"Hi, this is Valerie Tanner with the account resolution review department. My direct line is \*\*\*-\*\*\*-\*\*\*\*. I'm following up because it looks like there may still be some unresolved information connected to your file, and we wanted to reach back out before anything progresses further. In many cases it can be something as simple as a missed filing, late paperwork, or an unresolved notice, but it's important to verify everything and review what options may still be available to help address it.” Thank you!
I received a voicemail from Emily Harris(son) from the Account Resolution Department of the Tass asistiance Resolution office. It was a lengthy voicemail, sounding very official looking for account verification. At any rate, my taxes have been filed and refunded. Obviously a scam. Left voicemail... " HI, this is Holly Davenport calling on Friday the 16th from the account resolution tax review agency. Our number is 877-388-0636. I'm calling because there's a limited timing window where extended 2025 relief options are still available while 2026 programs are beginning to take shape. Once this window closes, access to relief can be far more restrictive. We've already seen many people miss out simply by waiting too long. This is a good faith outreach to give you the opportunity to take a quick no obligation call and confirm whether you qualify for current relief options before changes take effect. Please call back at 877-388-0636. Again, 877-388-0636. If you receive this message in error, no further action is required or call back and press 2 to be removed [BBB Scam Type: Tax Collection] [Business: Account Resolution Tax Review Agency] [Location: WI, USA- 53154]
