It stated they reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving the notice. The mail stated it was from lender: Mortgage Research Center Lic. There was what appeared to be a blue check on the bottom stating it was an allocated waiver for $199.00. We just purchased a house, we were supposed to get refunded $199.00 so when we saw this/ what seemed to be a check we were hopeful. Turns out it’s the same company that has been spamming us since we first moved in. I called them thinking it was the people they owed me and hung up after I realized. Mortgage Research Center Llc has contacted me multiple time using postal mail. The group is falsely indicating that my home warranty policy is expiring creating a false sense of emergency. The group threatens that failure to call will lead to a lapse of coverage, giving a tight deadline of 10 days to contact the group. I believe this is a phishing attempt, in pursuit of setting up a recurring payment plan in which little to no service is being provided to the customer. I would like to pursue action against this group to the fullest degree possible for spam-like threatening messages. This company has been harrassing me via postal mail. Leaving mail with deadlines and when my husband called they were pushing him to make a deal or his coverage would be cancelled. We already have a different warranty company. This was also explained to them. We get a letter at least once a day.
