I recently refinanced & now I keep getting daily numerous urgent requests via postal mail all saying it’s from Rocket Mortgage trying to reach me but they all have different phone numbers. I will not respond as my mortgage company can reach me by phone or email and when I log into my account there are no indications that they are contacting me. This is time sensitive so please call us at 844-543-9870 as soon as possible. In tiny print below the recipient name/address appears: All information provided by Mortgage Services Group LLC. 877-899-1809. Not affiliated with, sponsored by and loan information not provided by Rocket Mortgage LLC. In the address portion, a Mortgage ID: 61569-939-234 is bolded. My mom passed away and left the house to me and my sisters but the deed is still in her name. Virginia location: Virginia Hello. My mom passed away 3 years ago and left the house to me and my sisters. She left the house to all 3 of us in her will and we have a stamped and singed real estate affidavit from the circuit court. My little sister and I went to get the deed to the house this week and noticed it is still in my deceased parents name, My older sister is the executor of the estate. She lives in another states and wants my little sister and I to buy her out of her share. I have been approved for a home equity loan through Rocket Mortgage and will be working with their title company for closing, Rocket Closing. I am afraid we will need to get a new deed before closing. I don't even know where to start if that happens. Would Rocket Closing be able to handle that or would I need to do this on my own? I received a time-sensitive letter that looked like a check from Rocket Mortgage LLC regarding my property (my home address) secured by my lender. The letter stated that they reserve the right to revoke an allocated waiver within seven days of receiving the notice. It instructed me to call immediately, warning that this would be their final attempt to notify me. The letter included the phone number 1-800-260-1594, record ID CH02873979, and an allocated waiver amount of $199.00. My 81 year old brother, who has advanced dementia, received a letter from Vicky Mercer of 4Ever Home Warranty. The wording was "This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty at xxxxxxxxxxx(his address), secured by ROCKET MORTGAGE (in caps), may be expiring or has already expired." They included a customer ID of ***********, which made it look official. Had my brother been able to call their number (he can no longer remember how to use one), they would have easily duped him. He came to my house and I called them. They were rude, and tried to hide their actual purpose. I found a disclaimer in very small print low on the page. It was Final Notice, of course. My brother's name is off their list now...but I wanted to share because other elderly and infirm people are no doubt being targeted. Same as others except they have been calling me, emailing me, and mailing me. Pink postcard says IMPORTANT NOTICE: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED. It lists the bank I have a new mortgage loan with, my name and address, and an incorrect mortgage id#. Tells me to call 8883153515 to resolve a time sensitive number. They act as if theyre going to simply calculate mortgage payments for a given situation, but theyre actually just collecting your data and selling it to every mortgage loan company's available. I didnt even finish the application as soon as i realized what it was and yet I get multiple calls a day from random mortgage loan companies sating theyve seen my latest financial information and want to work with me on refinancing or whatever, even tho ive never contacted their company before.
