I got a letter in the mail urging me to call them. They wrote that this is my final notice and I need to active my "vehicle service contract" or else I would pay for my repairs myself. I received a letter in the mail with no return address noting an immediate response requested. The letter stated that I did not activate my vehicle service contract. Letting me know that my factory warranty had expired and I would be responsible for all repairs. However if I could still activate a service contract on my vehicle before it’s too late. Received postal mail marked "Final Notice" with other markings including: "Official Business" "Penalty for Private Use, $300" "Customer ID:" followed by 3-letter and 7-digit fake ID for what they were trying to make me think was my 'real' but non-existent account. I was told to activate an extended vehicle warranty by calling 888-426-0179, which I did not do. I suffered no financial loss, but reported it because I saw an existing report that matched many of the details of the incident that I am now reporting.
