Like another here, I got a phone message from "Maribel Ashcroft" stating they were from the Tax Review & Relief Department with vague promises of some kind of "tax relief" (whatever that means). I was suspicious since I did not initiate contact and these promises were vague and are for a non-existent department. The phone numbers she gave were 202-750-9299 and 202-992-6846. Sharing these numbers and the name given since this is what brought me here in the first place, and I'd like to keep others from falling for whatever this scam is.
