Scammer calls and leaves voicemail saying that I need to press 1 to speak to a representative, that I have a file in the office that needs my or my authorized representative's attention.. gave the phone number beginning with area code 351-837-0407. I am receiving calls from 401-371-8324 stating they have a file in the office and I need to call back 351-837-0407 file 948543 and are calling family members. I receive calls periodically they stop then start again I have asked in the past for validation and I am told they can not provide this. I will not pay or provide any information for a debt that cannot be validated. I have received calls before and after hours permissible I would like for this harassment to stop. I received this as a voice mail message, as follows: “This message is for Nancy. Press wanted to speak in agency. We received a file in our office name and you responded. It is imperative that we hear from you or your authorized representative if you do wish to handle this matter voluntarily. We can be reached at 351-837-0407 refer to file number. 942 978. This is a term sensitive matter. We expect to hear from you immediately.” This was a transcription of a recorded message; the transcription may nit be 100% accurate.
