This company (identifying themselves as Capital Loan Center) call me multiple times/day. When I answer, an automated message tells me that "this is Melanie Collins are calling to go over" my personal loan inquiry which is almost approved for $64k. Then I either need to press 1 to be connected, or call them back. When I speak to someone, they admit that they never had a previous loan inquiry from me, but ask if I'm interested in getting a loan with only 5.99% interest rate. Then they attempt to ask me for personal information (SSN, etc). When I ask them for any info that identifies what company they are calling from, they tell me that I'll be given that information when they transfer me to the loan rep. When I ask why I would give them any info if they are unwilling to provide any info on themselves, they hang up on me. But then continue to call multiple times per day. I have REPEATEDLY asked them to stop calling me. It's been going on for months. They call from a different number all the time. Some of the recent ones are 866-288-7643, 608-725-3010, and 475-378-4180. The only "info" that they will provide is that they are "Capital Loan Center from Irvine, CA".
