Received a letter appearing to be from the Minnesota Secretary of State regarding the annual business renewal for my LLC. The renewal form asked for a check in the amount of $135.00 to be sent to a P.O. Box in St. Paul, listed a gmail address for questions ( [email protected] ), and listed two phone numbers to call for questions (651-666-1128 & 877-329-4662). The scammer told me my LLC's due date for renewal was approaching (I think he saw this as an opportunity since it's the end of the year). Therefore, I should fill out a form that already includes some personal information from my LLC and send in the envelope a money order for 190.00$. The form was sent in English and Spanish. He explains in this letter/form that I have to report before the due date of 11/28/2025 , and that: I should make the money order payable to C.F.S. P.O.
