Used a search engine to identify businesses that were selling pistol magazines that were not readily available. One identified business was Order Gun Magazines https://www.ordergunmagazine-usa.com/ Everything on the surface looked legitimate so I placed an order. I received an email from Order Gun Magazines USA [email protected] It stated "We've put your order #xxxxx on hold In the email it stated that the order was on hold until they could confirm payment has been processed. It further gave "Important Payment Instructions" "We need to approve your order before you can proceed with completing your payment. Please contact us via text at (716) 501-5867 and include your order number to make verification easy. This allows us to verify your order and avoid any issues before accepting payment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. And then the email included the Order summary. [I thought this was weird but maybe it was a small business starting out. Still it was a weird process.] I did follow the instructions they provided and texted. The response/s that I received made me question the legitimacy so I researched "Scams" of the business and the results led to my concerns and I did not take the sale further. What the "company" texted was: "Hello xxx your order has been approved we will need you to complete your payment so we can proceed with your delivery." "Kindly confirm your shipping address; xxxxxxxxxx" "Your order is on hold pending payment." "Payment are done manually under friends and family. PayPal doesn't accept payments for firearms and accessories under goods and services." "Can we proceed?"
