I received a call from a (518) area code (local to my area). My spam filter on my phone blocked the call but the scammer left a voicemail saying she was calling about my Central Hudson Account. She addressed her voicemail to someone named Richard (not me) and referenced his street address. She left this callback number which doesn’t check out for Central Hudson: 1-800-210-9011 [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Central Hudson Gas Electric Date Re] [Location: NY, USA- 12054]
Called to say that my Con Edison bill was changing and asked me to pull up my account number. I told him I was not able to.
