BofA fraud scam? I got this text message from a standard number claiming to be BofA at 1901 today (11/11/23 which is veterans day). The phone number is a standard number with area code as opposed to BofA regular text messages which are just 5 or 6 numbers. I got a call from 8004321000 at 1947 which is Bank of America's fraud departments number. I answered the call and put it on mute to see if it was an automated scam message. But a person said "hello" then nothing else. I hung up the call and called the bank of America number directly. It put me through their automated system and hung up saying the offices are closed. I see no email alerts or anything on my banks website. Is it possible this was real or is it a spoofed number?
