I have been receiving several calls from (800) 656-2685. 12/17/2025 @ 0902 I took the call to tell them to cease and desist. The guy said he was calling from Loan Depot and ready to send my home equity money loan to me. He had my address, my full name, pertinent details about my household. I asked him to cease and desist because I never applied for a loan. He got very rude. From that point I asked him to send the original loan inquiry to my mailing address so I could review it. He kept going on about how I asked for the loan and he just wanted to get my money to me. I asked several times for the original inquiry to be sent to my home address by mail. (Since he rattled off my home address) He kept saying he didn't have to do that. We got into a screaming match about never calling me again. He kept saying I applied for the loan. I am in no way taking out a loan on my home's equity and very aware of how dangerous a scam like this can be. Sent calls to voice mail 12/17/2025 @ 0802. No voicemail left 12/16/2025 @1405, 1354, and 1353. No voicemail left [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Loan Depot Impostor] [Location: CA, USA - 93726]
