Received a Notice via postal mail that I must call 1-833-777-1002 to verify that my vehicle warranty is still in place. Notice is urgently pushing for me to call and for my registration. [BBB Scam Type: Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill] [Business: Unknown] [Location: NY, USA- 10803]

I received a mailed notice labeled “FINAL NOTICE – IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED” about a vehicle warranty. The letter identifies itself only as “Vehicle Service Dept” and does not list a company name, address, or website. It instructs the recipient to call 833-777-1002 regarding a vehicle warranty and references FORM 9550-WARR. The notice also states “Vehicle Info: 2025 Toyota – please call to verify.” The format of the letter appears designed to look like an official manufacturer warranty notice even though no company is identified. When the phone number was called, the hold message identified the company as Phoenix Protect. This is the third similar letter received. The envelope used a bulk mail permit from Sacramento, California (Permit 1935). The mailer appears misleading because it implies urgency and manufacturer involvement while hiding the actual company name. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size: [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: caller identified company as Phoenix Protect] [Location: TX, USA- 77449]
