I received a phone message from 833-859-0555 with my son's name, asking if I was the guardian and to call this number. No information was provided as far as who was calling, just to return the message. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: None provided] [Location: Forest Lake, MN, USA - 55025]

I got a Patient Statement that indicated "After your claim was submitted to your insurance and processed, we found that we did not collect all or part of your co-pay, coinsurance or deductible for items and services received...." and has a balance of $62.50 to pay w/in 30 days. the phone number, 833-859-0555, online indicated as a scam, and website that statement listed, walmart.mysecurebill.com, also has been flagged as scam. I called the Walmart Contact number, 800-WALMART and they said these contact number and website is not part of Walmart business. Have been receiving calls from (833) 445-0123. Voicemail claims I owe a balance on my Walmart Optical order. I receive an invoice in the mail on 11-16-2025. The invoice claims the following: "After your claim was submitted to your insurance and processed, we found that we did not collect all or part of your copay for the items and services received. The enclosed statement reflects your portion for item and services that remains uncollected." On this invoice, it is from Walmart Health & Wellness with a number to call (833) 859-0555 or to pay at walmart.mysecurebill.com. I called my local Walmart store, where I physically purchased my glasses in Sept. 2025, and spoke to them directly. On 11-19-2025 I spoke to Jennifer at my local Walmart Vision Center and she informed me that this invoice and the numbers calling are scam and to contact a place to report it. According to the representative, Jennifer, at my local Walmart store: I do not have any balances. My account is paid in full, and there is nothing I owe. My insurance covered what it was supposed to and she sees my copay paid in full. I gave the representative the Account Number on the invoice I received, and she said it is not a valid account number with Walmart Optical or an account number that is associated with me.
