I received a call on my work phone from a RD Processing saying they were looking to serve me with a document from CBA Company. When I questioned them, they referred me to 844-337-9203 with a reference number. I called and spoke to a Kerry Washington and she explained that I was being civilly sued by ACE Cash Express for a payday loan from 2009. I explained that I did not believe it was a valid debit and hung up when she started yelling at me. I called back to get more information and was told that I owed $4121 with court fees, etc. The man I spoke to called me a "professional debtor" because I said I could not be civilly sued in after 5 years so the statue of limitations was up. He told me that wasn't true and it was so satisfying when people like me have their wages garnished. He then hung up on me. I called back immediately. He told me to not call their office again and hung up on me. I waited a little while and called back a 3rd time. I got a different person who put me on hold and never picked back up after 10 minutes I finally hung up. I was contacted by a supposed third party delivery service called Rd processing. Said that they have been trying to locate me since 2009 regarding advanced america debt. I knew the likelihood of that being true was slim to none so I asked for information regarding it, she said she received the packet closed and she was just the delivery service and needed to confirm my address. I declined and asked for the law firms number and name and was provided with Cohen Bailey and Associates 844-337-9203. They were extremely pushy and said that there was no way this wasn't my dad and I made no attempts to repay this money and this is going to have to go to court. I asked for identifying website, address, attorney names and numbers and none was provided and they got increasingly upset. They knew the call was being recorded.
