They left a voicemail stating a reference number and that it was a final notice that i would be served with a Notice of Action for property investigation initiated against me. If i did not call them legal action wouuld be taken without my consent blah blah blah. The call actually came from (214)509-6338. They left a callback number to contact them at legal services 844-409-9966. I did not contact them. I just want them stopped. I have received at least 6 calls/threats like this. Thank you for your consideration in stopping these scammers. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Unknown] [Location: TX, USA - 76119]

I kept getting threatening voice mails about legal action taken and a property investigation. That I needed to call 844-409-9966. But I could not verify the business. When looking up the case #, there is no case number like that in my county. If you call the number with *69 it says caller is unavailable, used a different phone and call went through. Same guys voice "Frank" who left the message answered quickly. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Conducting Legal Office] [Location: MO, USA - 64118]

This call is to notify (my name) with reference case number 00-000000. That's 2 attempts are going to be made to serve you in notice of action pertaining to a property investigation being finalized against you for further details on the case or to change its active service status. Please call 844-409-9966 when calling the saving office, please reference your case file number. Failure to contact them immediately will result in further legal action against you and your property. An individual left a message on my wife's voicemail stating that they were from Civil Process Services with a reference number. The individual was aggressive in the voicemail, stating that if she did not contact them back, our property would be investigated with or without our consent. I called the number back (844-409-9966) and spoke with an individual who knew my name, the last 4 of my social, and my birthday, without me giving him any of it (caller ID for the name maybe). Each time he asked me to confirm, I refused, stating I would not give him any personal information over the phone. I asked if this was a county or state matter, and he claimed it was a county. I asked for his firm name, and he stated Summit Statue Law Firm. A quick Google search could verify neither his phone number nor his law firm. After refusing to give him any information, he said I would be served by 3 P.M. today at my home, and he hung up. Needless to say, it is now after 3, and I have had no visits. A little more searching on the web revealed what I suspected. A real civil processor wouldn't call first; they would just serve you. I looked up my information on my county courthouse's website, and no current legal action exists under my name. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Summit Statute] [Location: TX, USA- 75602]
