I locked myself out of my house. I had to use someone else’s phone to call a locksmith and selected the first one that came up in my ****** search. I was not given a quote for how much it would cost. When the guy showed up in an unmarked car, nothing officially associated with the business. The guy was also a young man in his early 20s and maybe of Middle Eastern descent. I include this detail because maybe other people have had a similar experience with this business And just have not filed a complaint yet. He demanded $300 which I didn’t have because everything was locked in my house. He spent 30 minutes and could not unlock the door and then said he could drill the lock and replace the lock. I said that wasn’t an option because my landlord would need to OK that. I said he had to leave. I would have to find another solution. He was demanding money, at least $100 and I said no there’s no way I can pay you. When my landlord arrived, he had another local locksmith with him. The spare keys for the lock no longer fit in the lock. The second locksmith dismantled the lock and realigned it so that now my key fits in it. It took the second, legitimate locksmith, 45 minutes to fix everything. And he only charged $85. Currently I am receiving harassing text messages from Locksmith Services phone number 855-202-9080 Do not use this service because it is a scam. It is not legitimate.
