An interview with an IRS scammer at +1 (859) 592-0530 I just talked to him for 23 minutes. Nice kid. 20 years old. Northern India. Gets paid 20k rupees or 311 bucks a month. “No factories, no jobs here”. He wants to move to Mumbai, but he doesn’t have enough money. He’s a Christian, but he “needs to survive”, and he recognizes that his job conflicts with his beliefs. He can’t take me off their list, doesn’t have that power. He told me that old people are hard marks. The “dumbest” are 30 to 40 year old guys. He said he calls Canada, all the Caribbean islands, and Australia, depending on the time of day. He said that “Americans are by far the dumbest”, they are often actually afraid when he says they’ll be arrested. He wondered about how his accent sounded, he knew he sounded Indian, but seemed to want to be told he didn’t sound terrible, like people from the “south”. He said he passes the calls to his boss when someone agrees to pay, and they get their credit or debit number. All and all, it seemed like his life is hard ($10 a day to live on), but he doesn’t have any good options. Oh and I actually had to end the call when I got bored.
