866-216-1072 amazon asking for Pin # on my screen. My coworker just got a call on his personal cell phone with a recording claiming they were amazon and he needed to enter the pin showing on his monitor. He hasn't used his Amazon account in about 2 years since I have prime and he's a cheapskate. He called the number back and it was busy so we tracked down Amazon's number and he chatted with them. Amazon didn't make the call and no one was in his account. since we don't have any closure does anyone know what this is trying to do? I can only imagine they want his pin number in hopes its the same as a pin elsewhere.
