Received notification through the usps. It was addressed to my wife who had deceased in February. This was from “Verizon”. Had cancelled my account the previous month and had just received a $49 refund. The paper used was inferior to that used by Verizon, account numbers did not match, addresses did not match anything I had on file. Called 866-266-1445, which did not match their posted customer service number. Spoke with a representative named “Carlos”. Thanked him for sending such a threatening letter, in so many words. He then became confused and quiet. Told him that this was fraud and would be reporting them. He had nothing else to say.
