I received a text from someone named Alexis from Fundova saying I recently requested a $30,000 loan and they were able to get me preapproved. They wanted me to call to discuss the next steps. A couple of text messages received to "go over my $40,000 personal loan". Never heard of this company, nor have I ever taken out a personal loan other than auto and home loans. Provided an alternative, that if I no longer need this loan to call them at 866-719-7869. They are persistent with the texts. I did not respond nor did I call. It is just a way for them to validate that your number is active and they will sell/trade that to other scammers. Just block them. I received a text message from +1 866-719-7869 on 3/17/2026 at 11:39 AM saying "Hi [my name], this is Alexis from Fundova. I see that you recently requested a loan for $25,000. I was able to get your pre-approved. Do you have a few mins to discuss next steps? You can also reach us on (866) 719-7869. Text End to opt out" and then another message a few hours later at 1:42 PM saying "Hi [my name], Fundova here. Just checking in to see if you received my previous message. Is now a better time to give you a call?" i never requested any loan, not have i even been on websites related to loans.
