I received in the mail from “Motor Vehicle Services” a letter stating that “immediate action requested”, they gave a record idea, and a contact phone number of 1-866-799-6459. The body of the message says, “we would like to speak with you about an important matter regarding your [year and model vehicle], please call their number as this will be their final attempt to notify us.” Further it says, “we reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after seven days of receiving its notice.” Below there is a piece of paper that looks like a check for $199 that requires a signature and it’s made out to me with my name and date. Other information on the paper is the make model year and county of my recently purchased vehicle. Auto extended warranty. Mailer included my name, car make, model and year, original dealership purchased from . It stated "Immediate Action Requested" and requested I contact them at 866-799-6459 m-f 9am-6pm CST, no Saturdays. Mailer included an official looking "Allocated Waiver" in the amount of $199.00 that appeared at first glance to be an official bank check, but with no bank details. Inside the mail was details saying that "Immediate Action Requested" for a vehicle I recently purchase with a Record ID for the notice and a phone number to contact them 1-866-799-6459. They said that it was their "FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU [me}" with a section on the bottom of an Allocated Waiver of $199.00 to the order of me and my home address. It requested a signature too. A notice via the U.S. Mail using U.S. Postal Meter Permit No. 1535 arrived at our residence on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. It was addressed to a Jerry Mcgowan; no such person resides at this address. It was marked IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUESTED, We would like to speak with you about an important matter regarding your 2022 Cadillac. Please call 1-866-799-6459 as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU. We reserve the right to revoke the allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. There was an alleged allocated waiver in the amount of $199.00 made payable to a Jerry Mcgowan. No one owns a Cadillac at our residence. The last name is misspelled.
