My husband and I keep getting these phone calls and messages from different names and numbers. We keep blocking and reporting scam and they keep coming even stronger. Multiple calls per day up to five times a day trying to offer a loan that was never applied for calling from multiple numbers but always leaving the same. Return phone number. The past week I have been getting numerous calls. I don't answer since my phone says 'Potential Scam' but they do leave a message, which when listened to are part way through their scam schpiel. They claim I had a past loan request and a potential approval for $67k and that if I am still interested to push 1 to talk directly with the underwriting team or call 866-959-1253 and ask for the underwriting team. I've had both male and female voices leave messages. I know I did not apply for a loan because I have all of my credit frozen, and have no desire to open up any more loans than what I have already. For the past 3 months, I have been receiving daily calls from random phone numbers. The unknown company has left voice messages claiming that "my loan is close to being approved" with a "loan amount up to $67,000" and to "press 1" or call back her direct line at 866-959-1253. The messages have been between the same one female voice and one male voice. They never identify my name and I have never applied for a loan. At first I thought that they may have my number by mistake, but they never identify any name in any of the voicemails. I have blocked every one of these numbers that has come in and Scam Shield has blocked an additional 40+ numbers a month. I know this is a scam of people trying to get personal info.
