These folks call multiple times per day saying I’m approved for various loan amounts. I’ve never consented to them calling me, never shared my phone number with them and I am on the do not call list. I have not applied for a loan nor am I in debt. I do not know how this scammer got my number but they called 3 times today from different caller ID numbers. I did not pick up because the caller was not known to me - the voice mail for all three calls was: : “Hey, this is Penelope. This is brought to you by Crestwood Loan Advisors. You can reach us at 877-419-6664. This message is from the Loan Department. We have a pending offer of $70,000 in the form of an unsecured loan. Your monthly payment is estimated to be $400. Once again press 2 now to talk to a specialist and select 9 to opt out.” I wish phone companies are required to not let blocked callers leave voice mails. As it stands right now - you can block a call, yet the scammer can leave a voice mail - so many that it fills up your voice mail box.
