Community Reports

There is a company that is posing as part of Google Business and they have a recorded message sent to our business phone that says our company is not being listed by Google and that if you do not press zero to speak to someone then your business will no longer be listed by google. This is the return number that they use: 877-556-9255 but they use different numbers that look like they are in my local area (203 area code.). When I spoke to them they say that the company's name is Voice Search - when I ask for their phone number for the company and the website they say that they do not have a direct number or website. They have been calling me daily since June 2025 and multiple times a day. I have repeatedly asked them to remove our number. This is interfering with our business. I am worried that other business owners are being scammed by them and are paying their $500 fee for listing and monthly $19 payments for continued listing. Today I received four calls from them to my business. They keep records of who they have spoken with at our company it is very alarming. I have also read on line that others have been targeted by them as well. I have a recording of their deceptive messaging. Hope you can help. .css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;fl [BBB Scam Type: Worthless Problem-solving Service] [Business: Voice Search] [Location: CT, USA- 06001]
