This is Sharon Schwab. I was looking at your request through one of our lending partners, and I think I can put together a better personal loan for you. This should be an easy process based on your profile. Press one or call me at 877-961-0958. Just to summarize. This is Sharon Schwab. I reviewed your personal loan request, and it looks like I can put together a better loan with lower rate. If you borrow $20,000 at 5.9%, your payment would be around $384. This should be a quick and straightforward process and we can move forward as soon as you're ready. Call me back at 877-578-1956 and I'll go through everything. TLDR: personal loan scam. No company given, simulated voice just asking to connect regarding obviously fake loan details. Calls never originate from the same number, but have all recently asked to return call at (877)961-0958 or (877)578-1956. I get 1-5 calls/day, has been ongoing for literally 9 months now (August 2025 - April 2026) with only a few brief breaks. ~~~~ I had been looking at credit card consolidation loans last summer (~August 2025). Starting a few days later, I began receiving several phone calls a day (anywhere from 1-5 calls a day, depending on day of week) continuously for months. The calls came from multiple numbers, only scarcely repeating numbers already used. The voicemail messages left used a modestly convincing voice simulator, claiming to be one of maybe a dozen fake names used across all numbers (most recently being “Sharon Schwab”). The messages never reference a company or lender, typically just saying they’re something like a senior underwriter. The messages go over pretty generic info which are not at all similar to the specific values I had been interested in originally, and with, frankly, comically and unrealistically good interest rates and repayment plans. The most recent batch of calls and messages I have received ask to either “press one” (lol) or call them back at (877)961-0958 or (877)578-1956. I have never answered one of these phone calls or returned a phone call to one of those numbers. Fortunately Verizon identifies them as “potential spam”, so they are easy to screen. I would really love to find a way to stop this absolute blizzard of harassing phone calls that have made it difficult to feel safe answering calls from unknown numbers, but nothing has worked yet. I am constantly receiving calls about a personal loan offer. No company name is ever provided, and the individual's name always changes. The loan amount, interest rate, and monthly payment amount are also always changing. At least 2-3 calls per day.
