Caller stated they were from National Document Services and had a document from Linkedin. They said I was to be available to call later in the afternoon, 3-4 pm. They could not discuss the matter but said to call 888-303-3613, and my case number is #709686. This is truly a scam... Documents regarding your file are being prepared to be sent out, and you will need to be available to sign for the delivery. The issuing agent will dispatch confirmation. If they're unable to reach you at home, they will attempt to reach you at your verified place of employment. In order to stop further action from being taken, you may contact the legal department at 888-303-3613. This call has been logged and recorded as proof of efforts being made to notify you." I received a voice mail (which was left on MY phone - however, they were looking for my daughter) from someone saying I needed to be home to be served court papers for a legal action against me. The call came from a local phone number 952-777-9188 - however, they said I could call them back at 888-303-3613. I've received many of these types of calls and I never call them back. I believe them to be a scam especially since I work for the courts and I know the courts do NOT call people like this. And when these calls come in, they are always leaving messages for my daughter (who has never had this number). If it was legitimate, they would be reaching out to her at her phone number.
