Informed me that there were two charges against my credit card account, for $500 and $1000, and asked me to upload an app to help clear it up. I told them that I had an emergency and would call them back. I called Chase and was told that they would never reach out to customers in this manner, and that my account was still secure. Was given case numbers and cancellation ID numbers. Was transferred to a “supervisor” who wanted me to login to my Zelle account, this made me very suspicious and I ended the call.
