I received a letter saying 2024 TOYOTA PRIUS Official Business, with “Final Notice” in red. It said “Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract activated. We are informing you that if your factory warranty has expired, you will be responsible for paying any repairs However, if expired, you can still activate a service contract on your vehicle before it’s too late. Please call: 888-646-0339 today.” The “Notice Date” was 2/18/2025 and in multiple places it said to respond by 03/03/2026 It doesn’t explicitly say it’s from Toyota, but the wording and format imply it. Update: Phone number seems to be listed to South Coffeyville, OK or Coffeyville, OK; population some 1,000 so small community. I posted earlier but wishing a Government agency would get involved with this scammer. Also, within about 5 minutes upon posting this alert / warning, my e-mail in box was flooded with scammers telling me my E-bay account was suspended and the normal ****, so on this report no using my email info. ******** Constant letters from an Unknown company wanting you to call about your vehicle ... call: 888-646-0339. No Identification in the letter, letter looks official to scare you with the above comments. No return company info, address, or name, no business ID number - nothing. Person on the other end..... we ended up in a cussing argument as this is not the first time I have dealt with them; demanding them to remove me from their mailing list; he refused and also to me to F** Off. Government needs to take legal action or some kind of action against this unknown party. Mail about a final notice for car. Will mention year, make, model of a car you might own or close to it. It says: “Attention: [Name], Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract activated. We are informing you that if your factory warranty has expired, you will be responsible for paying any repairs. However, if expired, you can still activate a service contract on your vehicle before it’s too late.
