I received a official-looking notice from Motor Vehicle Services telling me to call 888-965-2394. It contains a lot of information about my vehicle, including the dealer I bought it from. The piece of mail looks official -- it has two different colors of ink used to seem secure -- and it says: Immediate Action Requested We would like to speak with you about an important matter regarding your {car}. Please call 888-965-2394 as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU. They showed some of the details of a car we purchased last year. They had my name and address as well. I got a mailed notice saying immediate action requested record ID: CH08139903 Phone number 8889652394 we reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUESTED followed by a 1-888-965-2394 Number. Will try to reach out to you in the mail and may seem like a real warning regarding the make/model of your vehicle. However, no previous attempt to reach out regarding this information have been made yet this is the final warning. On mail, it is suggested to reach out to any ASE certified mechanic which is odd. Received a realistic (at first) piece of mail from “Motor Vehicle Services” regarding my vehicle.
