I called 907.268.4486 thinking it was Best Western Lake Lucille in Wasilla Alaska. In was answered my an automated voice saying it was Best Western Wasilla and asked if it was a new or existing reservation. I said new and was transferred to someone who said it was Best Western in Wasilla. I was travelling for work, and as I am miltary I asked about tax exempetion and he replied it would be tax exempt. When I got to Best Western, they said I booked through a third party so they didn't have a receipt (I need a receipt for reimbursement). I said I called and booked through them but they had no record. After I checked out, I received a receipt via email from the company that had the price plus $142 in taxes and fees for three nights. I called them to dispute, and was told they would reimburse me the taxes within 5-7 days and send an updated receipt within 24 hours. They have not sent the updated receipt and I cannot claim reimbursement for the remaining $494. I disputed the $142 charge with my credit card company and that is in process. I am coming here to let you know there is a company that has a local number pretending to me the front desk at Best Western Lake Lucille, Wasilla who is not. I have voice recording of my conversation yesterday regarding the reimbursement and receipt, and I have a voice recording of the number saying they are Best Western. I cannot upload audio files here but can send them elsewhere if wanted.
