I received a phone call from National Document Services regarding my mother. I did not answer the phone, but they left a voicemail "This is Kate Garcia of the National Document Services. I'm calling to follow up with a complaint to see it in our office for (mothers name). The reference number for the document is 191-04857. Documents related to your case which will be sent out shortly. You will need to be available to sign upon delivery or issuing agent will send a confirmation. We were unable to reach you at your home. Scammer called saying they had a complaint filed with them and they needed me to call back. They left a case reference number 191-11610 and telephone number (951)305-5369. The caller said if I did not call back, I would be notified and certified mail would be sent to my home or workplace (I am retired). Someone from this (951) 305-5369 called my adult daughter and told her they had been trying to reach me, but that I was not answering (Untrue, because I have no missed calls that I cannot identify on my phone). They provided her with a case number, their phone number, and told her to have me call them back. They said a document would be sent to me within the next 2 hours. I looked up the phone number and found it connected to a previous scam. It's the holidays, so I'm not surprised that there is an uptick in scams.
