I am submitting this complaint to report a business I believe is engaging in deceptive and misleading practices. The seller operates online under the name blackpridemovement.com and presents itself as a Black-owned business based in Atlanta, Georgia. This representation influenced my decision to make a purchase. However, after completing the transaction, I learned that the business is actually based in Guangzhou, China. The return address provided is: No. 237, Zhongshan Avenue, Tianhe District Guangzhou, Guangdong 510641, China This directly contradicts the seller’s claimed U.S. location. The use of a U.S.-based, Black-owned identity appears to be a deliberate attempt to build trust and encourage purchases under false pretenses. The contact name provided to me through PayPal for this seller is: Xen Ligt Technologies Co., Ltd.. I attempted to contact the seller regarding this discrepancy but was ignored by the person representing the company in regards to this misrepresentation. I also opened a dispute with PayPal. While the seller offered a refund contingent on returning the items to China at my expense, PayPal indicated there was nothing further they could do regarding the situation. The fact that this was a possible fraudulent business was not a priority for PayPal. Their primary concern was on successful transactions between sellers and buyers. They had no interest in opening an investigation based on the evidence I presented to them. I will be closing my PayPal account. I hope my claim helps future buyers out there. I made a purchase online at www.blackpridemovement.com on February 12h, 2026. I paid via the paypal pay in 4 payments. So far I've made 3 of the 4 payments. I ordered several items but only received one item. The items ordered included tops, a pair of leggings, a pair of earrings, and caps. I have contacted the company via email and have sent images of the product that I received. They continue to tell me that the order has been delivered and to check with my local post office or neighbors for my package; but they do not have the rest of my order. I believe that the full order was never shipped. Please do what you can to prevent these type of scammers from taking our hard earned money. Thanks for your help.
