I ordered a dress I saw on Pinterest from Crystalartiste.com. The website used a US address (1367 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312 United States) so I assumed it was legitimate. I checked the return policy and assumed I could return to address above if the dress didn’t work out. When the package arrived, I opened it to find a completely different dress from the one I ordered. I emailed [email protected] and explained how I received an incorrect item. The initial response was for me “to give the item a try”. I replied back not only did I receive the incorrect dress, but also the dress I received had no tags and a stain on the front, so I would not be “giving it a try” and I insisted on a full refund for their mistake. The next response was the only way to receive a full refund was to return the item and they sent me this address… Return Address: 8th Floor, No. 9299, Cross-border E-commerce Digital Industrial Park, Xitianwei Town, Licheng District, Putian City, Fujian Province, China Recipient: Mr. GO Phone: +86 186 5945 8168 Postal Code: 351100 They also said: Alternatively, if you feel that returning the item is too much trouble, we can submit a request to our supplier’s management team to explore the possibility of a partial refund, in which case you may keep the item. I replied that it was unreasonable to ask the customer to incur more shipping charges for their mistake. Not to mention the fact that it would probably cost almost as much as the dress itself to ship it back to China. I’ve tried to email them several more times and now they are not even replying… I cannot believe that a business can do this to customers.
