[US] https://goldenracketacademy.com I got "hired" by this company, Golden Racket Academy last week. It's supposed to be private lessons, like uber but for tennis basically. People request lessons, then the company sets them up with a coach. But the guy, Ardis, is dodging my calls now and not answering emails. Last night he told me that we'd talk this morning, but I don't think he realized it was me calling because he sounded anxious and said "oh I'm sorry I didn't see your emails." It's been almost a week he definitely saw them. So far they created a profile of me with my picture and information, but nothing past that. I feel like eventually they would have asked for bank info or social security information that sort of thing. I also wonder if they are just going to use that profile on their website to scam other people? I was supposed to just contact people directly (he had 3 lessons supposedly already booked). So just now I called two of the numbers of the "clients" and one went to voicemail with a weird voice message (AI again maybe?), and the other one, I asked if it was the person who booked the tennis lesson, and they said "uhhh no." So I think both of those numbers are fake. Also the third "client" booked is supposedly traveling to New York from Hong Kong, so reaching out to her would be impossible. Maybe that's the plan? To make these contacts unreachable, then I reach back out to Golden Racket telling them I tried to contact them, then something happens? I don't know. I'm not 100% sure that it's a scam, but I'm hovering around 95%. I can't find anything about this company besides their weird website, 3 generic AI pictures on instagram, and an article/blog that could have been posted by anybody. Not sure if anyone else has heard of them or anything?
