I ordered outdoor lanterns from Kaliqo.com. The website was misleading and the lanterns came were much smaller than advertised. I contacted the company for a return address. They gave me one in San Francisco. I sent them back in September via USPS. They arrived there, then I was told that the company there does not handle their returns anymore. I asked for help in contacting them to return the product to me so I can then send them to another address which they would provide. I got no such help, it is now 60 days past the day to file a claim and I have no lanterns. I was in contact multiple times through emails, yet nothing came of it. I am submitting this formal complaint against Kaliqo (Kaliqo.com) regarding duplicate billing, deceptive advertising, and failure to issue a refund after a properly completed return. On October 8, 2025, I placed an online order for one set of Kaliqo Solar Lanterns for $69.98. I was charged twice for this single order, resulting in two charges of $69.98. On October 28, 2025, I received and was charged for two sets of lanterns, despite ordering only one. Upon receipt, it was immediately apparent that the product was materially different from how it is advertised. Along with a self-photo that I modeled after their advertisement to show the contrast, I returned all four lanterns—one opened, but fully repackaged in its original packaging, and the remaining three unopened and still shrink-wrapped. The items were returned in full compliance with Kaliqo’s stated return policy, but at my expense to the California address listed on Kaliqo’s website, with the reasonable expectation that return shipping would be reimbursed per their policy. UPS confirmed delivery of the returned items on November 11, 2025. In tracking my refund I largely received generic emails from Kaliqo, however, on November 21, 2025, Kaliqo emailed me stating that a refund had been issued and referenced the last four digits of the credit card used for purchase. Despite this representation, which I now feel was a diversionary tactic, and dozens of follow-up emails and letters, no refund has been received to date. I am requesting the following: - A full refund totaling $185.50, consisting of: - $139.96 (two charges of $69.98), and - $45.54 in return shipping costs. Kaliqo’s website states: “In most cases, we cover the cost of return shipping. However, if we determine that return requests are excessive or abusive, return costs may be charged to the customer.” This return was neither excessive nor abusive, as I ordered only one se [BBB Scam Type: Counterfeit Product] [Business: Kaliqo] [Location: TN, USA - 3714
