Wireless connection speed with multiple users is suspiciously slow I've been having a problem lately, and I was hoping one of you fine gentlemen might be able to help me. I live in a house with two other guys, and we are all on the same wireless network. When we first moved in, we went for the cheapest internet connection offered, 1.5 megabits. I found it to be problematic when I wanted to play Starcraft 2 while another roommate was online, be it browsing or streaming or whatever. When I was the only one on the network, however, I had no issues. I figured this was due simply to a lack of bandwidth, so I upgraded to a 10 megabit connection, speed confirmed multiple times on http://www.speedtest.net. Unfortunately, this hasn't seemed to help my problem, and I still lag out of games as soon as a roommate fires up Chrome. This seems very odd to me, as a 1.5 megabit connection was ample when I was using it alone. I figured the 10 megabits would be plenty if it was split 2 or 3 ways. So I'm coming to you guys, and I hope you can help with this very frustrating problem. By the way, neither of my roommates torrent, so that is definitely not an issue.
